This is an incredible piece of news! We have the honour to welcome, in May 2026, for three dates, the maestra Victoria Olivella (Buenos Aires), the vice world Champion 2022 who will be teaching at Tanguito for exclusive classes!
Victoria Olivella is an Argentine tango dancer and teacher recognised for her elegance, musicality, and strong technical foundation. She gained international attention as the World Vice Champion of Tango in 2022, a title that established her among the leading figures of the contemporary tango scene. She came so close to being world champion – at this level, the difference between sub-champion and world champion is infinitesimal.
Known for her refined style and expressive interpretation, Olivella performs and teaches at festivals and events across Europe and beyond, often partnering with renowned dancers. Her teaching is especially appreciated for being clear, warm, and practical, focusing on technique, connection, and musical awareness developed through years of experience.
As both a performer and educator, Victoria Olivella represents a modern generation of tango artists who combine traditional roots with contemporary sensibility, bringing authenticity and creativity to stages and dance floors worldwide.

About Victoria
Victoria Olivella was trained in arts from little, nurturing herself and developing in different areas in dance and fine arts. Over the years she has been researching and studying with lots of maestros the different styles and techniques within dance, achieving her own personal dance style.
She Organized the Milonga La Torcacita in Buenos Aires in 2016. She taught classes for the municipality of Munro and Villa Adelina Development Society from 2015 till 2017. Then, she worked at La Viruta teaching classes and giving exhibitions at renowned milongas in Buenos Aires such as La Viruta, Salon Canning, La Nacional del tango, Milonga Malena, Pipi Cucu Milonga, Milonga Gente Amiga, El Floreal, La Baldosa, El Beso, Muy Lunes, Si sos Brujo, El Viejo Almacén, Milonga a la Parrilla, El Fulgor de Villa Crespo, Si Tango, among others.
She won the 1st place of the Fitta Tango Championship 2019 at Córdoba, Argentina.
She achieved the Sub Championship in the Mundial of Tango 2022 and got the 2nd. place of the category “Vals” and the 3rd place of the category “Milonga” at the Metropolitan Championship 2022 of Buenos Aires.
She has Toured all over Argentina and throughout Europe giving classes, courses and seminars as well as doing exhibitions. She has participated in different festivals in Europe and Buenos Aires such as Tango Salón Extremo (Buenos Aires), Lisbon Tango Festival (Portugal), Dream Tango Festival (Italy), Tango Experience Festival (Switzerland), Festivalito de Tango Istanbul (Turkey) and CITA Festival (Buenos Aires). She has worked as a Maestra and part of the Festival of Mundial de Tango 2025 in Buenos Aires.
She continues perfecting her dance in Buenos Aires, developing her own dance style.
